I kept a journal on my phone and recorded pictures on my phone as well as a disposable camera. The journal was originally short sentence fragments or bullet point notes.

I planned the road trip and made an itinerary of all our destinations, cities, hotels, and travel times. I used colors to make it more visually pleasing and easy to decode.
